waiting, lies in bed
cancer growing or shrinking?
weeds in snowy field
Poetic Reflections from an Anglican Clergyman
waiting, lies in bed
cancer growing or shrinking?
weeds in snowy field
friend in hospital
labors for return of health
bud not yet open
illness lurks within
sleeping, waiting to emerge
dormant volcano
feverish baby
sitting, silent, in my lap
dark before the dawn
tiny attackers
putting the body to flight—
ants swarming a bird
