wisdom’s voice rings out
she seeks fools to be made wise
yet her patience wanes
Poetic Reflections from an Anglican Clergyman
wisdom’s voice rings out
she seeks fools to be made wise
yet her patience wanes
yawns around the class
wisdom consumed, choked upon,
or sought but not found?
anticipation
gathers like the morning dew
will minds soar or sleep?
Sun through the windows
Brings no warmth to those within
Lament for the bored
knowledge on the screen
a thirsty mind seeks to drink
yet the fountain chokes
